On the evening of September 28th, the Heilongjiang provincial governmentheld a celebration for the 65th anniversary of National Day in the Volga River banquet hall of Longmen Hotel. More than 60 representatives from Russian, North Korean, Japanese, American, South Koreanconsulates in Shenyang,entrepreneurs, experts, scholars, overseas students and overseas Chinese from more than 14 countries gathered and more than 60 from 14 countries of the entrepreneurs, experts and scholars, students and Chinese, overseas Chinese representatives gathered to celebrate. Three representatives from our university attended the occasion representing foreign teachers and students from institutions of higher education in our province.

The provincial government's National Day reception is an annual pageant in celebration of China’s National Day as well as expression of solicitude and gratitude for friends from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas who are working in Heilongjiang province. It also serves as a platform for understanding and perceiving Heilongjiang.
